The addition to the Morgan Elementary School included six general purpose classrooms, a special education room, two kindergartens, and associated support spaces. The intention of the new addition was for it to be a seamless extension of the existing school. To that end, the project used the same material palette and form as the existing building.
The project also revised the landscaping in front of the school to improve accessibility to the school, create informal outdoor spaces for students and parents to use during drop off and pick up times, and enhance the visibility of the school. The project was delivered on time and on budget.
